Aidan Sadler

“If the end is nigh, we want Aidan in charge of the exit” West End Best Friend

Meet your host for the night - Aidan Sadler.

An "absolute tornado of a cabaret star", Aidan Sadler is routinely vandalising the face of cabaret. Described as the “Demonic David Bowie”, they made their staggering ascent to notoriety at Edinburgh Fringe 2021 with their debut show, Tropicana, which went on to sell out, extend and win "Best Solo Act" at The Scene Alba Awards. They have since appeared in Fringe festivals across the globe every year, repeatedly trying to recreate the magic of their first run, like an addict chasing their first high.

“From hair-raising vocals to peppering the audiences with their barbs and jokes, they single-handedly keep my faith in show business” The Sun

Aidan appeared in their west-end residency at Proud Embankment, which received nationwide acclaim in The Sun, TimeOut and Metro. Aidan then went on to throw their name in the ring as the spokesperson for the end of the world, creating apocalyptic synthwave cabaret, Melody. This received further sold-out houses, five-star reviews and allowed them a platform to launch original music with their band, Garrisons. Aidan continues to tour nationally, gracing national theatres to holiday parks with their musicianship, surrealism and token suitcase full of dreams.

“Sadler has the visual aesthetic of a being beamed directly to us from another planet, but also the musical chops to go with it.” The SMU

Ríoghnach Connolly & Honeyfeet

Still residing as BBC Radio 2 Folk Singer of the Year, Ríoghnach Connolly’s taste for musical adventure is eclectic. Along with her companion players, Honeyfeet, they collectively drive a broad terrain of musical textures from esoteric protest songs to foot-tapping and floor-thumping dance rhythms.

Ríoghnach (pronounced ree-oh-nah) and the Honeyfeet ensemble are equally proficient in headlining festival stages as they are stripping back to sublime obscure jazz on theatre stages.

For more than a decade, Honeyfeet have been ‘on the road’. When lockdown rules didn’t interfere, the norm was headlining stages at Shambala, Beautiful Days and Moovin Festivals and wowing audiences at Glastonbury, Boomtown, Wilderness, Secret Garden Party and Kendal Calling.

Elle & the Pocket Belles

Retro Pop and Electro Swing crossover girl-group “Elle & The Pocket Belles” are sure to dazzle you with their sassy and soulful, harmonious performance. Described by Glastonbury Festival programmer Chris Tofu as “The most saleable Electro Swing act I’ve ever seen”; the band’s sound is reminiscent of a cross between classic 60s soul and 50s girl groups given a joyful and wry modern twist. This band delivers jazzy vocals, tongue-in-cheek storytelling lyricism, and an energetic live performance...Elle & The Pocket Belles are always a sight (and sound!) to behold.

Since signing with "Freshly Squeezed Music" beginning of 2023, the girls have released five singles (with four of these tracks gaining Spotify Editorial Support) and their album "What's A Girl To Do..." with the title track also getting Playlisted. They are in demand on the Electro Swing Scene collaborating with Pisk (Swingrowers), Bart & Baker, C@ in The H@, Odd Chap and Mista Trick.
