Summer By The River: Front Room Songs presents Romain Axisa, Jack Valero and Tilda Allie

Festival curators Front Room Songs present an evening of their favourite up and coming artists.

Romain Axisa

As a founder member of Brighton busking sensation The Big Push, Romain has a following around the globe. With their videos on YouTube attracting millions of views and sold out tours around the UK, Romain is widely recognised for his electrifying guitar performances.

An outstanding artist in his own right, he has returned once again to his solo career, releasing singles including ''Goodbye Good Days'' and ''Love Without Feelings'', with an album due out later this year.


Jack Valero

Forceful, full-throttle live sound, taking in driving open road Americana with a little power-pop punch for good measure.

Capping 2022 with his trilogy release 'Heaven Help Me’, ‘Hollow Warmth’, ‘Form Over Function’, Jack Valero debuted his solo career with comparisons to Tom Petty & Elvis Costello.

His conversational lyricism, understated wit alongside spirited Americana/rock instrumentation and a knack for timeless British pop songwriting caught the attention of new music champions, earning airplay from John Kennedy at Radio X, Amazing Radio and Chris Hawkins at 6 Music being moved to say "This is so good. SO good...What a beautiful thing". Newly signed to Modern Sky, he joins a burgeoning roster which includes The Lottery Winners, Jamie Webster, Slow Readers Club.


Tilda Allie

Soulful electronica infused with jazz and lo-fi beats in a melancholic landscape of Scandinavian sounds.

Tilda Allie is a Swedish-born alternative music producer, vocalist & visual artist based in South East London.

Tilda explores alternative soundscapes mixed with electronica, jazz, and cinematic sounds, inspired by the raw landscape of Scandinavia. Tilda combines thought-provoking visuals and dark melodies to captivate the audience’s senses. Tilda's Infectious stage energy and emotional performances mirror the powerful vulnerability in her voice. Tilda has been compared with artists such as Bjork and FKA Twigs.

Her work has been previewed in Discovernu Mag, Dummy Mag, Worldplay Mag, Spindle Mag, GAFFA and picked as "Artist of the week" by BBC introducing, She has been featured on Channel 4 and Sky TV. Tilda has supported acts such as Haiku Hands, Lava La Rue, SK Shlomo and played iconic venues such as Ronnie Scott’s. Tilda’s innovative way of live producing puts her on the map as one of the most intriguing new acts of 2023
