Summer By The River: Walt Disco + Tycho Jones + Szyko

230810 Walt Disco Pic 2

Walt Disco push musical boundaries, celebrate the outsider, and inspire people to be their favourite selves.

Walt Disco have taken their futuristic new-wave shows all over. They’ve thrilled at Glastonbury (UK), Best Kept Secret (NL), Bebop (FR) and SXSW (US), to name a few. After SXSW performance, they were immediately booked for Austin City Limits Festival (US), sparking their first US Headline Tour in NY, Austin and LA.

Walt Disco has certainly ticked off some bucket list moments; playing with Duran Duran, being invited by Bobby Gillespie to support them for Primal Scream’s Screamadelica Tour, or turning to the side of the stage to see Tilda Swinton watching their set at Connect Festival.

2022 propelled Walt Disco on their mission to push musical boundaries, celebrate the outsider, free audiences from an uncertain world and inspire people to be their favourite selves. 2023 will kick off Walt Disco’s second album campaign.Walt Disco’s spaceship has only just come into view, and it’s not going away any time soon.

Tycho Jones

Uplifting and chill on the surface, both Tycho Jones and their music rumble with the emotions and the skill of a proper artist underneath. Tycho has received glowing reviews from the likes of Elton John: referring to them both on the radio and in print as one of their favourite new artists from Britain; while Complex Magazine labelled Tycho an “alt-pop wonder".

They’ve built a band, plus a live persona and style of movement, ready for even bigger stages. Indeed, Tycho Jones might be part of the glistening fabric of the London Indie Music scene, but their songs and performances both narrate and dictate what it means to be young, conscious, and confused no matter where in the world you find yourself.

Szyko

Szyko is a queer-pop act from Brighton. Their debut single "Accelerate" channels the energy of Charli XCX and SOPHIE. With a stellar performance at The Great Escape 2023, shortly after their debut London show at The George Tavern. Szyko is evolving into a true pop star.
