Summer By The River: Funkamental

Funkamental is a 5-piece heavy funk band that found its origins in the first lockdown in 2020. Saxophonist Tony Rico and trombonist George Simmonds started writing music together remotely, and over time it has expanded to become an unstoppable groove machine featuring Sam Woods on guitar, Joe Sam on bass and John Sam on drums. With a hard hitting energy and some truly monstrous horn lines, expect a sound like The J.B’s meeting Trombone Shorty and Lenny Kravitz!
