Summer by the River: Making with Ruth - Block Print Fish Making Workshop
Designed to facilitate collaborative making between children and their adults, we will explore pattern and colour, whilst discovering the weird and wonderful secrets of the Thames’ river life.
They will teach the basics of block printing using handmade rubber stamps and assist you in creating your very own personalised designs. Using colourful papers and lots of fun materials, you will have the chance to create your very own sea creature.
Thames river facts: there are over 125 different species of fish swimming in the Thames, this has encouraged seals and otters and there have even been sightings of rare seahorses.
"It was perfectly challenging and creative and fun.....kids had a blast, so did I"
